Product Disclaimer
What this store says about its products, what it does not say, and the limits you should know about before ordering.
Effective 2026-10-09 · [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]
1. What we claim
We describe what a product physically is and what it physically does. For example: it produces warmth, it vibrates, it emits light at a stated wavelength, it applies pressure, it holds a charge for a stated number of hours. Those are product specifications.
We do not claim a health outcome. We do not say a product treats a condition, relieves pain, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, fixes posture, or cures anything. If you see language like that anywhere on this site, it is an error and we want to know about it. Write to legal@akindo.world.
2. Wellness and recovery products
The wellness range includes percussion massagers, heated wraps and massagers, eye masks, light-emitting devices, resistance bands, posture trainers, compression sleeves, and cold exposure equipment.
Before using any of them:
- Talk to a doctor or a qualified health professional first, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, have had surgery, or take medication that affects circulation or sensation.
- Do not use a heat, light, or vibration device on broken skin, on a swollen or inflamed area, over a joint that is injured, or on any part of your body where you have reduced sensation.
- Do not use a cold exposure product if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, poor circulation, or cold-related conditions such as Raynaud's, unless a doctor has told you it is appropriate.
- Follow the manual for session length. More is not better.
- Stop using a product immediately if it causes pain, dizziness, numbness, or skin reaction, and seek medical advice.
- Keep all electrical wellness products away from water unless the manual explicitly says they are water-resistant, and check the rating first.
- Keep every product in this range out of reach of children and pets.
3. Electrical and battery products
Smart plugs, lights, cameras, locks, projectors, inflators, and battery packs contain electrical components and lithium batteries.
- Use the supplied charger and cable. A different charger can damage the battery or cause overheating.
- Do not use a device with a damaged, swollen, punctured, or wet battery.
- Do not expose batteries to heat above 45 C or to direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface and do not leave a charging device on bedding or upholstery.
- Dispose of batteries at a designated collection point. Do not put lithium batteries in household waste.
- Check that the voltage and plug type suit your country before you plug anything in.
Products are sold with the certifications stated on the product page. Certification applies to the product as supplied and to its intended use. Modification, incorrect installation, or use outside the manual voids that.
4. Products used around children and animals
Several items in this catalog are used in homes with children or pets. Small parts, cords, magnets, batteries, and packaging all present hazards to children and animals.
- Treat packaging as hazardous to children and animals and dispose of it immediately.
- Cords and straps are a strangulation risk. Keep them away from cots, beds, and pets.
- Magnets are dangerous if swallowed. Seek emergency medical help immediately if this happens.
- Pet products are sized for stated breed ranges. A harness, collar, or bed that is the wrong size can cause injury.
- Supervise animals with any chew toy or enrichment product and replace it once it is damaged.
5. Fitment and compatibility
Car accessories, electrical fittings, filter sizes, and spare parts must match your vehicle, appliance, or system. Universal fit means universal within the stated dimensions, not universal without exception.
Check the specification table on the product page against your own requirements before ordering. Where a listing states a fitment range and you are outside it, the product will not work correctly and the return is treated as a change-of-mind return rather than a fault.
6. Results vary
Photographs show the product. They do not show guaranteed results. How a product looks, feels, and performs depends on how you use it, what you use it with, and your own circumstances.
Placeholder photography on this site is marked as such and will be replaced with product-specific imagery as it is produced. Where a listing shows a generated or composited image, that is noted on the listing.
7. Third-party products and brands
Manufacturer names, logos, and model designations appear for identification. We are not the manufacturer and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer named on this site. Manufacturer warranties, where they exist, are provided by that manufacturer and are additional to your statutory rights and to our own warranty.
8. No medical advice
Nothing on this site, in our emails, or in our support responses constitutes medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Content about wellness, recovery, exercise, driving, home safety, and pet care is general information only.
Always consult a qualified professional for advice about your specific circumstances. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
9. Limits of this disclaimer
This disclaimer is part of the Terms of Service and is subject to the limitation of liability set out there. It does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including rights relating to goods that are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose.
Where a jurisdiction does not permit the exclusion of a particular warranty or liability, that exclusion does not apply there and our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
